For a Vodafone line, first confirm which service manages incoming calls. Mobile voicemail, external-number forwarding and a business telephone system have different destinations and settings.
Start with the service you have
Vodafone’s official voicemail service page explains routing calls to its voicemail service. That service is distinct from forwarding calls to your Golub Voice destination.
If your business uses Vodafone’s hosted telephone system, its Bulut Santral page is the relevant starting point for that product. Do not apply hosted-system instructions to an unrelated mobile line.
Confirm external forwarding with Vodafone
Before changing settings, ask Vodafone to confirm the following for your exact line:
- Whether calls can be forwarded to the destination provided for your agent.
- Which conditions are available and how to configure them.
- The required number format and any plan or destination restrictions.
- The effect on existing voicemail and other call services.
- Applicable charges and the method to restore the original configuration.
This guide does not provide a universal dialing code or claim tested compatibility for a specific tariff.
Prepare your Golub Voice side
Review the agent’s publication state and its Deployment → Phone numbers settings. Confirm the intended destination before using it in any carrier configuration. Prepare the greeting, knowledge and human follow-up using Quickstart.
Check the complete journey
Plan a controlled verification with the line owner after the correct carrier method is established. Check the selected condition and the intended destination, including the fallback if it cannot answer.
If calls still reach voicemail, review the active carrier rule and service precedence with Vodafone. Changing a greeting in Golub Voice will not change a carrier routing rule. See Phone setup and forwarding for the full preparation checklist.
